The intermediaries programme provided access to education by funding existing private educational organizations in Sindh. The key to this programme is to gain synergies in leveraging existing infrastructure. EFS supported more than 47,000 OOSC through these partnerships with both international and local reputed organizations working in education. The largest among them was BRAC, an international Education NGO based out of Bangladesh and through its innovative One-room One-class model, EFS supported education for 27,000 children mostly in Khairpur and Qambar Shahdad Kot. Local partners included The Citizens Foundation (TCF), Green Crescent Trust (GCT) and The Family Education Services Foundation (FESF).
